With the US economy sagging and the subprime mortgage loan crisis, more and more frustrated wage earners are looking for ways to bolster their family incomes, stave off possible foreclosure on their house or worse, bankruptcy. Many are turning to the internet in hopes of making a supplemental income. Unfortunately many have found that the internet has its own pitfalls. Many are skeptical about the internet’s ability to aid them in increasing their incomes.
I will be the first to say that the difficulties faced by most of us who turn to the internet to earn extra money are legion. The internet is without a doubt a scam infested environment. If you venture into the internet world you truly have to adhere to the old adage of “buyer beware.” My experience and research over a period of eight years has convinced me that while there are scams, there are also legitimate companies offering real opportunities to earn money.
However, the individual looking to make money on the internet must be able to recast their thinking as to what a “job” is. The traditional corporate job description is not the definition that works for the internet. A 9 to 5 job is not likely to happen if you are looking to make money on the internet. Making money on the internet means working smarter, using tools and learning how the internet works.
Today’s real jobs on using the internet can best be described and compared to corporate jobs as “tele-commuting” jobs. You work at home, you use your computer and you are doing jobs that previous corporate employees were doing before they were let go to cut costs. Internet companies have picked up these outsourced jobs creating money making opportunities for you.
What To Look For
Look for companies on the internet that offer the following:
1. Have a track record of at least 5-years
2. Are certified by a 3rd party as a non scam opportunity e.g. ScamX
3. Have a easily understood web page
4. Admits that it is not a get rich quick opportunity
5. Offers a money back guarantee within a reasonable time, 60- days
6. Does not require monthly fees or purchases after you sign on
7. Has multiple options on the kinds of opportunities they offer
Several companies we have reviewed meet the above criteria. One company we reviewed stands out from the rest. Even they make claims that are somewhat inflated but mostly they are close to what they actually promise. This company markets other companies products. Madison Avenue fortunes were built on the same principle as this company. The company represents over 17,000 companies you can choose to work with, no special skills required but you will have a learning curve to get up to speed. Most importantly they offer an approach that allows you to enter the market without spending more than about fifty dollars. You can market the products without spending any more money. However, once you get started you might want to consider investing a little money to be more efficient with your time and make more money.
